Rather than have everyone sign up for raids, we run a system of assumed attendance. We assume that everyone will attend every raid – and you’ll need to inform us as early as possible if you’ll be missing. Please inform us by posting in this channel: Sicknotes - just post in the channel, do not DM an officer unless you want to add context to your post. You do not need to provide a reason for your absence. We enforce this to ensure there can be no miscommunications, missed messages, etc.

If you are going to miss a raid, let us know with plenty of warning – ideally before we complete our rostering for the week. We realise that people will inevitably miss raids due to unforeseen circumstances, emergencies, etc., but anticipate that these should generally be rare. We take an extremely dim view of anyone missing raids without communicating with us.

Generally, we heavily prioritise reliability in our raiders – a fantastic player who’s only available 80% of the time is effectively worthless to us, because we lose any benefit they might yield during the raids when they’re missing and someone else has to fill in for them. Accordingly, we track attendance and make rostering decisions heavily based on availability.
